The Center City Commission operations are directed and implemented by its 20-member Center City Commission Board of Directors. The board is
comprised of:
- 10 private-sector members appointed by the county and city mayors and approved by the City Council and County Commission;
- a city mayor representative and a county mayor representative;
- two city council members and two county commissioners;
- and four state legislators.
A professional staff of employees handles the day-to-day operations and provides support and assistance to the CCC Board and its four affiliate boards:
- Center City Development Corporation
- Center City Revenue Finance Corporation
- Design Review Board
- Downtown Parking Authority
Together these entities provide incentives and assistance to encourage economic growth and development within the Central Business Improvement District.
