As owner of a prime piece of vacant property on the N-E corner of Main Street and Gayoso Avenue in Downtown Memphis, the Downtown Parking Authority (DPA) is seeking proposals for a development partner to build a mixed-use project on the site. The project should include a 300 to 400 space parking garage and a retail component on the ground level. The project shall also include private development air rights above the garage, for a mixed-use project. The DPA is requesting proposals from qualified developers for the construction of the garage and the purchase and development of the air rights and ground floor retail. The terms and conditions for this development are included with this RFP.
A pre-proposal conference will be held at 9:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, September 26th, in the Center City Commission offices, 114 N. Main St., Memphis, TN. Questions should be submitted in advance of the pre-proposal meeting to kitsinger@downtownmemphis.com or via fax to Andy Kitsinger, 901-575-0541.
Twenty copies of the proposal must be received by Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. CST.
