Within the past few years, several early education schools and daycares have opened, providing convenient education opportunities for families that live and work in Downtown: Downtown Elementary School: a public school with an optional program for grades K-6 St. Patrick's Jubilee School: a private catholic school for grades K-6 that offers financial assistance for families in need, and Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering: a charter school sponsored by the Memphis BioTech Corporation for grades 7-12 located on the UT Health campus.
