Belz Museum of Judaic and Asian Art
Home to a collection of more than 900 objects ranging in date from 202 BC to the early twentieth century. The Asian collection includes intricately carved jades, ivories, sculptures, paintings, ceramics, textiles and funerary art. The collection of Judaica reflects the artistic journey of some of Israel’s most celebrated contemporary artists.
The museum is just one block west of the Peabody Hotel and is accessible from the Main Street Trolley line. Within walking distance of great shopping, dining and Memphis’ own Beale Street, the museum is located in the heart of Downtown Memphis.
Garage**, lot, and metered parking is available along Peabody Place Avenue. The Tower Garage, located at 110 Peabody Place Avenue, is the closest garage. (If parking in the Tower Garage, just take the garage elevator to the first floor and follow the signs towards the museum.) Walk along the Main Street trolley line to the Pembroke Square Building. Proceed downstairs to the Concourse Level.
**The museum will validate parking tickets for the Tower Garages for discounted parking.
