Memphis Park

Formerly known as Confederate Park, this park high on the bluff overlooking the Mississippi Rivers honors those who fought in the Civil War and World War I. There is a memorial for Medical Society Members who gave their lives in World War I and a plaque for suffragette and author Elizabeth Avery Merriwether. Situated next to the University of Memphis Law School, this pocket park in the heart of Downtown offers a peaceful retreat to watch the river roll by.

Managed by the Riverfront Development Corporation.
