The Front Porch is the perfect place to grab a snack or have meal while you are at the park and an excellent choice for kicking off a night of downtown adventure. The new pop-up restaurant on the river serves sandwiches, salads and appetizers with a "Sundown Snacks" menu after 4 pm. Located at historic Beale Street Landing, this 6,000 square-feet glass enclosed dining area is the ideal way to watch the river roll by in a colorful red rocking chair. The sloping grass roof naturally cools the breezeway below making this an ideal summertime choice. Don’t miss the souvenir shop attached to the restaurant for great gift ideas. The Front Porch also offers an excellant patio with live music on the weekends and great view of the Famous Memphis Bridge across the Mississippi River.
One of their signature items for lunch hour is their Fried Catfish Sandwich, served with a side of their freshly made waffle fries. The sandwich packs together the flavors of a freshly caught catfish with the natural taste of tomato and pickle. All around, if you are looking for a quick bite to eat Downtown, The Front Door is an excellant option.
Front Porch shuttle service from Main and Peabody is available for lunch hours. The shuttle is easily identified by a large arrow on top of the golf cart and additional signage on the sides and front window. A sandwich board at Main and Peabody designates the shuttle stop and lists hours and days of operation. The shuttle is free to restaurant patrons.
