Jimmy Ogle's Walking Tours Return to Downtown this Fall

September 27th, 2017

Take a stroll and celebrate the season of Fall with Jimmy Ogle, Memphis' favorite history buff, as he offers a series of free historic walking tours Downtown.

Memphians and tourists alike can learn new facets of the city’s history from Ogle’s extensive knowledge about historical sites and little-known, quirky details about the city of blues, soul, and rock ‘n’ roll.

When asked which tour Memphians should go on, Ogle responded, "All of them!" and then jokingly added, "And the Judge D'Army Bailey Courthouse tour."

Learn what made the city flourish into what it is today, as Ogle colorfully narrates the city’s history as if it’s jumping out of the history books -- into real life. Don't miss out on this highly entertaining and educational experience for all ages!

"There's so much history this city has to offer, and a lot of it lives in Downtown. I love doing these tours and meeting the people and sharing stories and adding new facts here and there to the tours. They're so fun for me to do!"
