DMC releases interactive online dashboard, illustrating Fiscal Year 2018 investments and accompanying data across residential, retail, commercial, mobility and livability categories.
The Downtown Memphis Commission (DMC) is proud to announce its 2018 fiscal year State of Downtown Dashboard, a comprehensive economy activity lens into the DMC’s latest investments and activations across Downtown Memphis.
“Previously, we produced a printed annual report to memorialize our milestones; the intent of moving to an online platform is for the dashboard to serve as a living, breathing, interactive asset to anyone interested in Downtown – existing business owners, potential developers, residents and beyond,” said Penelope Huston, vice president of marketing, communication and events for the DMC. “The high-touch, in-depth report reflects our mission; to fuel growth and development in Downtown by investing alongside some of the most visionary developers and thinkers working in our region.”
The State of Downtown Dashboard is compiled from US Census Bureau, HUD, and other data sources and is tied to the DMC’s tools, incentives and activation funding, which collectively fuel the DMC’s two primary goals of population growth and increased appraised property values throughout Downtown. The online platform allows for hyperlinked projects and programs, encouraging readers to learn more and dive deeper into the data.
