With the mighty Mississippi River as the backdrop, "Soulin' on the River" is a sample of the new sound of Memphis soul featuring five great bands June-August in The Grove on Mud Island!

•Lawnchairs, blankets, picnic baskets, and coolers are welcome!
•Park Downtown and ride a bike/scooter over the river!
•ADA accesible parking available on Mud Island.
Mud Island River Park and Gift Shop
This 52-acre park is actually a peninsula in the Mississippi River. The park is accessible by a monorail and walkway that extend over the river, or cars can drive to Mud Island via A.W. Willis Bridge. The park includesThe Riverwalk, a water path that serves as an exact scale model of the Mississippi River flowing from Cairo, Illinois 954 miles south to the Gulf of Mexico. Other amenities include peddle boats, kayak and canoe rental, bike rental, beautiful picnic areas and scenic views of the river. The Mississippi River Museum and the Mud Island Amphitheatre are also a part of the park.
Season opens April 13 - October.
