3rd Annual Memphis Riverfront Soccer Tournament Returns in March
It’s time for the annual soccer tournament in Tom Lee Park and registration is open!
The Riverfront Development Corporation (RDC) has opened registration for the third annual Memphis Riverfront Soccer Cup!
The adult, co-ed soccer tournament will feature 7 vs. 7 players and be played every Sunday from March 4 to April 15, 2018 (excluding Easter Sunday, April 1). Teams will compete for the championship title along the Mississippi River on Tom Lee Park’s RiverFit soccer field.
Registration, which costs $150 per team, closes Sunday, February 18th. Teams can register by contacting Andrew Smith, RDC Communications and Programming Manager, at asmith [at] memphisriverfront [dot] com
Tom Lee Park contains the RiverFit stations, and is adjacent to Beale Street Landing and the Front Porch restaurant, which gives team supporters and family members additional things to do before and after the games.
This is the latest of the RDC’s projects to create a world class riverfront in Memphis. The non-profit organization is charged with the development of the Memphis riverfront to include green space, public amenities, private development and economic opportunities designed jointly with citizens and funded through public/private partnerships.
