TN Shakespeare Company to Perform Outdoors in Downtown Parks
Tennessee Shakespeare Company, the Mid-South’s professional, classical theatre and education organization, announced its Tenth Anniversary Performance and Education Season and two performances will take place in Downtown Memphis.
The season is front-loaded with performance events and over-full with expanded Education outreach programming. Depending on the schedule of construction in its new home, TSC will announce end-of-year performance plans in early 2018.
“We need our classical artists today, too. Shakespeare encourages us to ask questions, to listen closely, to think deeply rather than condemn or judge or separate. The entertaining arena of Shakespeare and his plays is where each of us gets to meet ourself.
- Founder and Producing Artistic Director Dan McCleary
